Trillium earrings

I've been really thinking about spring, symbols of spring really, and one I remember from growing up in NC was this early flower that is often found in the woods--the trillium.  It is one of the first things to pop out of the ground and bloom, staying low to the ground and having this single bloom.  It only stays around for a short while then just seems to blend with the forest vegetation that pops up afterward.  It has three leaves and three petals, in colors ranging from white to a burgundy red.  A very unique flower.   I made these quilled earrings as a happy memory of springtime in NC.   Hope you like them too.
